Thor : Love and Thunder

While on the production of Thor : Love and Thunder, I helped to develop the look and layout for Indigarr. Most of my work for this early scene consisted of very rough 3D compositions, although I was able to paint a few up. This was my first time working on sets that were shot using the 'Volume', which meant a lot of careful consideration when creating compositions. The art dept. were awesome as always and the Art directors and set designers did an amazing job.
It was great to work with (PD) Nigel Phelps again and an honour to be part of a Taika Waititi film. I'm a Kiwi, so his earlier films in particular resonate with me.
The process is totally collaborative, requiring input from many talented artists throughout production. Each artist takes what has been done before them, adding their own unique touch. Finnian MacManus had done a lot of early dev for Indigarr, so these images are an extension of his work. The final shots look fantastic and I'm stoked to have contributed.
