Indigarr Temple

A few of many designs done for the Indigarrian temple, while on Thor : Love and Thunder. The whole gag was that the temple had to look incredibly fragile, yet wacky and almost comical. Artists such as Finnian MacManus and Sung Choi had done designs previously, which I continued to morph, under the direction of Nigel Phelps. Sometimes I'm asked to paint over other artists work, which I wont be sharing. Although, there are still remnants of their work in some of these images. 
There are too many iterations to share, or that anyone would care to see. Ultimately we couldn't capture what Taika was after. From memory, at one point Taika asked everyone in the art department to have a crack at designing the temple. The crazier the better, and the results were bonkers. I think the final design was settled on much later in production. They did however use a bunch of pieces from my designs for the destroyed temple set.
